Teens for Jeans at Centennial High in Champaign

Children's Holiday Shop

From 9:00AM to 5:00PM

The 21st annual Crisis Nursery Children's Holiday Shop will be held December 7th-14th at Lincoln Square in Urbana. Join the holiday tradition! Crisis Nursery’s Holiday Shop is the perfect place for children to do their holiday shopping for everyone on their list, with all gifts priced between $2 and $8. Children shop with the help of a community volunteer so their gifts are a surprise for family and friends.When the children are done picking out their gifts, they pay for them and wrap them in festively decorated bags. As they leave the shop, children are always full of pride with the items they have picked out on their own and an understanding that it is just as great to give as it is to receive! Carolers at the Pines

Join the Dickensian Carolers as they sing the holiday spirit. The Dickensian Carolers will make an appearance at Cafe Zojo's covered patio, or inside if the weather is poor. The carolers will be singing from 12 pm - 12:30 pm on Saturday, December 14th and 21st.

Snow Globe at Orpheum Children's Science Museum

Spend an enchanted time in a winter wonderland where the tradition of merry-making continues featuring indoor sledding, snowman making, snow ball throwing, ice fishing, and more! Generously sponsored by Busey. Open every Saturday, from 1-5 p.m., between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Free for members and $5 for non-members.

Candle Stick Lane w/ 50th Anniversary Lighting

Candlestick Lane Celebration

Join the 50th anniversary of this Champaign-Urbana holiday tradition. This year, the Grand Marshall, Santa Claus, and the torch bearer will be present at the celebration. There will also be a firetruck, an older Candlestick Lane tradition. Event starts at 6pm and each house will be lit one at a time. Drive cautiously and turn off headlights to get the most enjoyment from the lights.
