CUDO Plays: Board Game Design Competition
CUDO Plays, a local board game design competition, partnered with Volition and the Champaign Urbana Design Organisation, is holding its Grand Exhibition at the Landmark Hotel onFebruary 16th from noon to 8pm. Gamers, Designers and Makers from the Champaign Urbana area have created 13 unique and innovative board games that they would like to share with the community.
We will be providing food and refreshments throughout the day and it is an exciting opportunity to look at the creative design being done in the CU area! The Landmark Hotel is a beautiful space and there will be a gaming room, where the action will take place, as well as the library for those who prefer a more intimate gaming environment. Their bar will also be open during the day.
This is a family friendly event, and we would like to invite anybody with an interest in board gaming or design to pop in and experience the wonderful local creations and have a lot of fun. We have a diverse range of games, everything from monster hunting to space faring. With a delightful mix of eclectic genres, there is something for everybody.
