  7:00PM 8:00PM Prairie Skies   A live-narrated tour of the wonders of tonight's sky, accompanied by some of the legendary stories of the ancient sky. Find out what constellations and planets are visible tonight from your backyard. This show is updated seasonally and is intended for all ages. Our winter show gives way to spring on March 21. Tickets are $5 adults; $4 students, seniors, & kids, all sold at the door. Fridays through June 14 at the William M Staerkel Planetarium.

Net Proceeds will go to upgrade the fire alert system at St. Thomas School. The Festival features a Quilt Show, a Silent Auction and Quilt Boutique of beautiful quilts you can take home with you. The Gift Shop, a Bake Sale, and Patchwork Café offer unique hand crafted gift items and delicious and affordable food items. The Festival of Quilts is a special tradition at Cunningham Children’s Home. Since 1895, every young person that comes to Cunningham is given a hand-made quilt to enjoy and treasure forever.   10:00AM 11:00AM Nature Play Pre-K: Excited About Eggs   This program is for preschoolers age 2-6 to learn as we play in nature! We’ll learn about different animals that hatch from eggs. NEW this year, we are offering an afternoon session! This is a chance for parents/grandparents to actively engage with children as they experience the natural world. Dress for the weather, as we will be outdoors for the entire program. $5 per child. Registration required by April 1; (217) 896-2455 or cwalsh@ccfpd.org.
