Virginia Theatre - Life Itself

Following its downstate Illinois premiere at the 2014 Ebertfest, Life Itself Returns to the Virginia on July 28th. This moving documentary recounts the inspiring and entertaining life of world-renowned film critic and social commentator, Roger Ebert, - a story that is by turns personal, funny, painful, and transcendent. Based on the best selling memoir of the same name, Life Itself explores the legacy of Ebert's life, from his Pulitzer Prize-winning film criticism at the Chicago Sun-Times to becoming one of the most influential cultural voices in America

Urbana Park District presents "Annie"

More than 90 local performers will take the stage in "Annie" at 7:30 PM at the Cobb Auditorium at Urbana High School. Tickets are available at the Phillips Recreation Center, 505 W. Stoughton, Urbana, by phone with a credit card at 217-367-1544, at urbanaparks.org, or from a cast member. Ticket prices are $14 for adults, $10 for students/seniors and $7 for children 12 and under.

Comedy Karaoke

Every other Thursday Night Champaign-Urbana Comedy allows you a chance to get on stage and try your hand at Stand Up Comedy. Perform along side feature acts from Comedy Clubs across the Midwest, as well as local performers and even first timers (that could be you!)
