138th annual Fairbury Fair

21st annual Apple Dumpling Festival

From 3:00PM to 11:55PM

On August 15th and 16th come enjoy this years 21st annual Apple Dumpling Festival. The Festival will be located on Main Street in Atwood, Il and will run from 3:00 PM to midnight on the 15th and 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM on the 16th. Introduction to Geocaching - Homer Lake Park

From 6:00PM to 7:30PM

Geocaching uses GPS units to search for hidden treasure in an exciting outdoor quest for the whole family! Join us for an introduction to the speirit and hobby of geocaching, followed by a hike to find a multi-cache hidden in the preserve. A limited number of GPS units will be provided for participants to share; you may bring your won handheld GPS if you have one. $2 per person; children 2 and under FREE!
