Listener Email - Big Deal or Not?

The Prize Guy and Friends talk about this email they got.
Over the weekend, I purchased a kids meal at a drive-thru. The cashier asked if I wanted a toy for a boy or a girl. I paused for a second before she asked again. I asked her if I had to make a choice. She said yes and then inferred that I was trying to get two toys instead of one. This was not the case. My five year-old son is quite sensitive and has older sisters so he sometimes displays softer traits than a normal boy would. He also plays with dolls and some of his sisters' toys. After arguing with the cashier for 30 seconds she finally agreed to give me both toys. I told her I thought it was wrong and politically incorrect that a restaurant ask such a question. She disagreed and said company policy dictates that she must ask the gender question before placing a toy in a bag. Who's right - me or the restaurant?
